Werewolf Blood
[GUIDE] Werewolf Blood B0k1ltj

- Vampire the Masqeurade (page 380):
"Lupine blood is potent vitae, and a powerful allure to the Kindred. A werewolf’s blood is so rich that, though its body holds the equivalent physical volume of 10 blood points, a vampire can draw 20 or more actual blood points from the Lupine before its veins run dry. Even if a Cainite has time to guzzle only a blood point’s worth, he gains two points for his pool. However, the supernatural power of werewolf blood can also be dangerous.

A vampire who feasts on werewolf blood is far more susceptible to frenzy and Rötschreck while the Lupine blood remains in her system. Every blood point of werewolf blood increases the difficulty to resist frenzy by one — that is, if a character drinks only two blood points worth of vitae from a Lupine, her difficulties to resist frenzy are two higher (even though the points manifest as four total blood points in the vampire’s system). Even if the vampire successfully staves off her Beast, she becomes paranoid and short-tempered for as long as the blood remains in her system. In some cases, vampires have even gained temporary derangements from feasting on particularly volatile werebeasts.

There are rumors that Lupine blood can even temporarily grant levels of Potence or Celerity. However, this isn’t always the case. It seems to have something to do with the werewolf’s own bloodline, and how pure its heritage is. Unfortunately for would-be hunters, the more purely bred Lupines are often in positions of leadership in their packs, and it is a deadly proposition to go through the rankand-file to catch the alpha."

Mechanics:
Lupine blood, the forbidden elixir, holds both potent allure and treacherous peril. An enticing and dangerous draught it is, capable of quenching a vampire's insatiable hunger and gifting them with augmented physical prowess. Yet, in the embrace of its power lies a harrowing price to be paid.

Nourishment
Lupine Blood, and the blood of other Nightfolk, provides the vampire with double the nourishment. For every point of blood drawn from a Werewolf, 2 Blood Points will be regenerated.

Dangers
Every Werewolf Blood Point in the vampire's system raises their beast control difficulty by +1, making them more prone to frenzy and Rötschreck. If a vampire drinks 2 Blood Points from a Werewolf (resulting in a total of 4 Blood Points), their difficulty to control their beast and to resist frenzy and Rötschreck increases by +4. As they spend a Blood Point and have only 3 Werewolf Blood Points left, the difficulty penalty decreases to +3.

Additional Powers
Attaining additional powers through the consumption of Werewolf blood is contingent upon the following conditions:

For every 3 points of current Rage the Werewolf possesses, the imbiber gains an extra dot of Celerity.
Should the Werewolf belong to the Metis breed, the vampire acquires an additional dot of Potence.
Furthermore, if the Werewolf's auspice is Ahroun or holds a Rank of Athro or higher, the vampire gains yet another dot of Potence
