Background Story:

As the full moon set, a howl was heard, announcing the birth of a new cub, Katerina Fedorov. Katerina was born in the Crescent Moon caern in Russia, a cub set to be a great warrior that Gaia would need as the fear of the apocalypse is near. Lupus numbers are scarce in the present days, so the birth of a lupus in the Silver Fang tribe is a great sign. Katerina slowly became respected because of her breed as the number of lupus werewolves is relatively small in the Silver Fangs. Before her first change, Katerina's early life was rather simplistic as she had no awareness about her true nature, and grew up in a small wolf pack, learning the ways of the wild from pack members who were older than her. One year passes, Katerina has grown up a bit, but she has also started to recieve various signs and omens about her true nature, she began having these vivid dreams of who she truly is. One day while she was walking around in the woods with her pack, looking for some prey to hunt,  they encounter a few local hunters in their path who are armed with various rifles and traps, Katerina then began being filled with a fierce instinct to protect her pack, beginning to snarl and bare her teeth in defiance. But as the humans raise their weapons to strike, a surge of energy and primal rage courses through Katerina's body, and then it all begins. Katerina's bones begin to crack and reshape, her muscles bulge, and her fur bristles as her body adapts to the new form that she's transforming into. As she fully transformed into her Crinos form, she lets out a primal roar, striking fear and terror into the hearts of the assailants, right after that she quite literally went on a rampage, annihilating every single one of the beings that tried to harm her and her pack. After the whole confrontation, Katerina becomes fully aware of her true nature as a Garou, a warrior of Gaia that has the duty to protect the natural world. Katerina then returns to her fellow brethren where she began her training. She always stuck to her primal instincts as the lupus’ way of thinking is much more simpler and she’s always seen things from a simpler point of view. Because of this, Katerina became part of the Renewalists camp as she’s much younger than the others and wished that the elders of the tribe would see things the same way she and her Renewalists brothers and sisters do, given her relatively stubborn nature and always sticking by her arguments, she was given the deed name of ''Stubborn-As-Mules''. During her cub days Katerina was introduced to a lot of knowledge about her tribe, and just Garou life as a whole. Her training included communication in the human language, how to change between her forms efficiently, to navigate the complexities of the human world, and so on. She took a big responsibility upon herself as she believed that her fate and destiny was to become a leader or a great warrior as all the other Silver Fangs are. When she was taught knowledge, she chose to become part of the Sun Lodge because most of her fellow renewalists were also from the Sun Lodge and because it taught Ahrouns a lot about order and discipline And when the time came she had to prove herself in the Rite of Passage. She was born under the full moon so Katerina was very confident she would win because of the many great tales told by other Garou about the Ahroun that puts them in a good light when it comes to fighting so she was challenged to fight under unfair circumstances, Katerina had to fight someone in their war-form while she was in her glabro form with a sword. Luckily during the fight, the Crinos tripped and Katerina was able to defeat it with a finishing blow. Then, Katerina became a fully fledged member of the tribe as a Cliath. But as a Cliath, Katerina would have to actively fight the Wyrm now and was chosen to be on the front lines thousands of times. Katerina and some of her fellow sept members have joined forces with the Arctic Axe Sept and went on to fight Spiral Dancers from the Hive of the Glowing Sea. The battle was harsh, but Katerina managed to survive the whole ordeal, but with many injuries. She had just gotten into her first serious fight and never believed the Wyrm would deliver such toughness. After seeing her combat prowess, she was scouted by a local pack of wolves named the ''Moon Stone'' pack, a pack that was under the wing of the mighty Bull totem. After many trials, she managed to gain the totem and the pack's favor in full, and became an official member of the pack, and also recieved the blessings that were given by Bull to the other members of the pack. A short while after that, Katerina stumbled upon a small town called Blueberry in the search for other fellow shapeshifters that she’d be able to serve as a Silver Fang, honing her leadership skills while at it.

Questions

Note: If this is not your first Werewolf/Fera character in our chronicle, you may skip all of the questions other than the ones colored blue.
[Answer Here]

1. Explain what Werewolves (or Fera) are and how they differ from humans physically and mentally.
Werewolves are esentially half-spirit creatures who possess the ability to shapeshift between five forms. A Garou is physically more powerful than a lot of the living creatures that roam the earth, and they also have an immunity to a huge number of diseases that plague the human world, but then again they're still living beings and can definitely get killed.
A werewolf's healing capacity is about a trillion times stronger than one of a human being's as they're basically half-spirit beasts who were programmed for combat, and thus, they're exceptionally hard to put down. Most of the werewolves are capable of reaching the age of a hundred and they can even go beyond that mark, but unfortunately in their world, dying of old age is quite the luxury.
Mentally speaking, depending on the form they're in, the difference between a human being and a Garou is quite literally indestinguishable. When they take on their other forms however, they may become more instinctual, aggresive, and prone to their primal urges.

2. Explain what the First Change is, how it happens.
The term ''First Change'' refers to when a werewolf goes through their first transformation. The First Change usually occurs when a werewolf goes through a highly stressful moment and they undergo frenzy and shapeshift into their war-forms. Though, on some occasions, the transformation can be relatively peaceful and not as complicated as the Garou goes into a different form other than his war-form.

3. Explain what the Litany is and who enforces it.
The Litany is esentially a set of rules that was developed by the Garou in ancient times, with the traditions varying from tribe to tribe. The enforcing of the Litany falls on the shoulders of the Garou themselves, especially on those who hold positions of power such as tribe elders, pack leaders, and spiritual leaders.

4. Explain the following terms: Pack, Sept and Tribe.
A pack is a relatively small group of werewolves who are united by friendship and share common goals with eachother rather than just sharing culture. They are also the basic social units in werewolf society who are composed by members from each auspice, but they can also hold more members. Every single member of a pack usually shares one single totem.

Garou Tribes are the main social unit in their society, they are usually composed of werewolves who share the same bloodline, totems, and lifestyles. Tribes are esentially the so called ''family'' of a werewolf, which forms their spiritual, totemic, and social bonds.
A werewolf is not necessarily bound to join their ancestral tribes, there's situations where a wolf may not meet the expectations of a specific tribe and therefore is not accepted as a member at all. It can also come down to the ideals of a wolf that may also drive them to not join the tribe of their ancestry and seek a tribe that aligns with their personality. Tribes such as the Black Furies and Children Of Gaia are known for adopting wolves who were rejected by their ancestral tribes.

Septs are composed of a few groups of werewolves who share the same ideals and bloodlines and who are also organized around a single caern. These certain groups are protecting the caern from anything that is of Wyrm and Weaver nature, and other supernatural threats, and also from humanity itself.

5. Explain what the Triat is, as well as its origins and the current state of each power at play.
The Triat is composed of the three greatest entities in the spiritual hierarchy, the Wyld, The Weaver, and the Wyrm.
The Wyld is a powerful force that produces nothing but chaos, it is then given order by the Weaver and then destroyed and returned to chaos again by the Wyrm.
The Weaver is another powerful force who was tasked with making order from anything that was created by the Wyld, and giving them a form and a function before getting destroyed by the forces of the Wyrm.
The Wyrm is another of the three powerful entities tasked with the purification and the correction of any creation and the acceleration of their fall toward entropy. It accomplishes this feat by getting rid of the creations made by the Wyld and the Weaver.

6. Explain what the Auspices are and how they affect the Garou and the Garou Nation.
The term ''auspice'' refers to the five phases of the moon that a Garou gets born under. This role holds a great spiritual importance, as it is basically considered a gift of Luna herself, and is also closely tied to the primal essence of the Garou that is called rage.

Werewolves born under the new moon are called ''Ragabash'', they're basically the tricksters and spies of the werewolf society. If there's a secret to be investigated or intelligence to be gathered on the werewolves' enemies, they're the first ones to be called to do so.

Werewolves born under the crescent moon are called ''Theurge'', they're esentially the shamans and priests of the wolf society and the ones who mediate the Garou and the spirit world and direct the religious lives of werewolves.

Werewolves born under the half moon are called ''Phillodox'', they hold justice and balance as their most prized virtues. They're basically the leaders in times of peace and the ones who are tasked with overseeing disputes, challenges, bringing peace, and to take decisive actions on questions who are relatively difficult.

Werewolves born under the gibbous moon are called ''Galliard'', they are the bards of the werewolf society who were tasked with storytelling, narrating the ancestral stories, and incorporating new tales of the achievements of their own packs.

Werewolves born under the full moon are called ''Ahroun'', though every single werewolf is a warrior, wolves who are born under the full moon surpass everyone in this category. Ahroun wolves are the ones who go first into combat and the last ones to leave, leading the attacks against wyrmish forces. They are usually the ones who are in charge during times of war in werewolf society.

7. Explain what Breed stands for and how it affects the Garou and what role it plays when determining one’s place in the Garou Nation. Do mention what Tribes do care abou the different Breeds and how they view them.
Every single werewolf has a breed, which refers to the shape in which they were born and spent their childhood in. There are three breeds that a werewolf can get born in.
The human form, which is called ''Homid'', these are the wolves who were born as humans. A homid werewolf does not go through the First Change until puberty or after, before the change occurs a lot of homid have certain dreams and visions that contain dealing with wolves and the wilderness. A lot of homid wolves flourish in the human world, but even though they're werewolves, they have certain difficulties when dealing with nature.
The wolf form, which is called ''Lupus'', they are the Garou that are born in their wolf form. Unfortunately, Lupus wolves are becoming relatively rare due to the worldwide drop in wolf population over the last several hundred years. They live as young wolves until the age of either two of three before going through their First Change.
The war-form, called ''Metis'', they come from the forbidden pairing of two werewolves. They are born in their war-forms, which is an ordeal that usually takes the life of the young Metis or its mother, or both. Every single metis wolf suffers from some kind of  deformity  that signifies their shameful parentage.  They go through childhoods who are isolated and hidden from both the human and the Garou world, until they are old enough to go through their First Change which usually happens when they reach the ages of eight or ten.
There are also tribes who hold prejudice against certain breeds such as the Red Talons, who are almost an all lupus tribe, save for the exception of a few metis, they have a huge amount of suspicion and distrust toward human born werewolves as they view them as being way too close to humanity and their culture.
Another example of this sort would be the Wendigo tribe, who hold hate against any kind of European Garou because they believe that they were the ones responsible with bringing the corruption of the Wyrm to the American continents.

8. Describe a difficult situation in which your character accidentally breaches the Litany and the way they are going to deal with it.
Even though my character will try to uphold and adhere by the Litany as much as possible, the tenet that she's most likely to break is the one that strictly forbids the breakage of the veil. Given her Ahroun nature, she's filled with primal rage and her fuse is relatively short, and therefore she's most likely to go into a frenzy and risk revealing the existence of the Garou to humanity. The way she's gonna deal with it is quite simple, given the fact that she's the kind of person that always admits her mistakes and finds no excuses for them she's just gonna accept the punishments that will come in a graceful manner.

9. Explain what Rage and Gnosis are, how they are determined and how they influence the Garou.
Rage is the primal anger that was gifted to the Garou by the celestine Luna. It helps the werewolf move at phenomenal speeds, ignore grievous wounds, and change between forms in the blink of an eye. Rage is also used to activate certain gifts. Rage can be re-gained by entering combat, taking damage, and gazing at the moon.
The possession of rage also comes with a disadvantage though, werecreatures who are born with primal rage are also born with a weakness to silver. Having a relatively high amount of rage makes you more of a danger to the ones around you. The more primal rage in a wolf, the more they're prone to lose their control and temper, but in general it just makes them more aggresive.
Gnosis is the spiritual essence of a werewolf, it grants the wolf an entrance to the spirit realm of the Umbra, opens them to the spirits in nature, and also helps them with fueling the gifts that they were blessed with. The way gnosis is regenerated is through meditation, usage of rites, and the usage of certain talens and fetishes.
A werewolf that is in the possesion of a high level of gnosis is more attuned to anything spiritually related, thing that allows them to them to converse with and influence spirits in a more effective manner, cross the barrier between the mortal and spiritual world more easily, execute rites more efficiently, and so on.

10. Explain the way your character views the Litany and each member of the Triat.
My character views the Litany as sacred and something that needs to be upholded as much as possible. In her eyes, it is a set of rules that helps govern the society of the Garou, they are tenets that are nothing but full of the wisdom of their ancestors that provide guidance on how to deal with the complexities that the human world provides while also continuing to uphold both their moral and spiritual values.
The Triat is seen by her as something that is necessary for the world to function in a proper manner, though she does understand that the order between the three entities is long gone.

The Weaver - She holds a huge amount of hate towards the Weaver as she believes that the Weaver itself has the biggest blame for the corruption of the cycle between the entities by driving the Wyrm into madness and making it destroy everything in its sight rather than just the things whose time had run out.

The Wyrm -  She percieves the Wyrm as the main representative of chaos, decay, and destruction and the force whose only goal is to turn the balance of the world upside down. She sees herself as a warrior against the forces of the Wyrm and seeks nothing else but the destruction of it.

The Wyld - Katerina revers the Wyld greatly and is the entity that she is the most connected to. She sees it as the embodiment of vitality, creativity, and the source of all life, an also the type of energy that creates countless of new opportunities and revitalizes the planet. Though she still understands the huge need for balance, knowing for a fact that unchecked chaos can be just as dangerous as unchecked corruption and decay.

11. Explain in your own words about your character's Tribe, in your answer include its purpose, lifestyle and some of its history.
The Silver Fangs are essentially the ''Alphas'' of the whole Garou nation. The Fangs are known for their sense of honor, their bravery, and physical beauty. Despite their extraordinary qualities, the Silver Fangs suffer from both spiritual and mental ailments, the very foundation of the tribe has been weakened by the concept of harano and inbreeding despite its best efforts, and truth being told, it might already be too late to turn things around. Members of the tribe hold a huge responsibility on their shoulders given their rich past, though a lot of the tribe's members are way too arrogant to accept assistance from anybody else

The tribe was originally divided into 13 Houses who were located in the Russian Tundra, with each and every single one of them having a descendant from the original thirteen wolves of the Pale Tundra. Each house had a single king or queen, who ruled their territory.

In the modern nights, only seven houses out of the original thirteen have managed to stay on their feet, with each Silver Fang belonging to one of the remaining houses. Each house has a single King or Queen, who answers to the High King. Lords, and packs coordinate their territories, with each pack having its own leader.

Hello Razor!

Thanks a lot for applying! It's good to see an old werewolf player return.

In the application I have found some mistakes and typos, but nothing drastic.

There is one thing, however, that I'd like to request:

Please add in at least 1 paragraphs for each of the following subjects in your backstory:
1. Her life as a wolf, before the First Change
2. How her first change was

It is very important for a Lupus character to have their lives as wolves included in their backstory. Playing a Lupus is a lot harder than playing a Homid and even a Metis, which is why I wish to make sure that you understand at least a bit of their behavior.
